Joint Airborne Lidar Bathymetry Technical Center of Expertise (JALBTCX) - perform operations, research, and development in airborne lidar bathymetry and complementary technologies to support the coastal mapping and charting requirements of the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the US Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)

Coastal Zone Mapping and Imaging Lidar System (CZMIL) - design, development and field performance characteristics of an advanced next generation airborne coastal mapping and charting system. Intended to maintain accurate hydrographic depth measurement, CZMIL will significantly improve spatial resolution, target detection performance, and increase the capability for, reliability and accuracy of bottom reflection, through data fusion with other sensors data and do so over a wider range of water conditions.
