Optech Capabilities

Our collaboration has continued for several years, resulting in a product line of compact industrial sensors, with packaging, data outputs, control and prices all tailored for our customer.

Innovation for specialized applications: Optech exploits its commercial technology to meet custom OEM needs.

Customized data outputs: For our airport-docking monitors, we worked with equipment providers to manufacture sensors that provided the prompt, reliable aircraft position information that airport authority’s demand.

Sensor integration: Optech integrates its products with other sensors such as digital cameras. Products can be controlled remotely by standard industrial control systems. Our products have been packaged for unmanned airborne vehicles.

Rugged, compact packaging for difficult environments: Optech products are designed for field use: our level monitors are packaged in explosion proof enclosures for industrial applications. Optech products are used in hot, wet mines in Ghana, on Arctic surveys, in North American grain silos and in refineries. One of our OEM products, a ceilometer, is dropped from an aircraft and survives impact.
