VrTwo
The power and interactivity of VrOne in stereo highlights
the VrTwo softcopy software.
Vr Mapping is a collection of software applications written specifically for creating digital
maps. Vr Mapping software is used to map a variety of projects using stereo images,
ortho-rectified images, lidar data, or a combination of all three.
Optech Vr’s workflow maximizes the production of deliverables while minimizing operator
fatigue. VrOne facilitates the rapid capture of vector data from raster orthographic mosaic
images and lidar data. Its built-in ability to stack commands, coupled with an expandable
symbol library and 3D point cloud viewer, make it a powerful tool that enables a single
operator to rapidly extract data. VrOne’s inclusion of specialized modules for raw image
sorting (VrImageUtility), and tie/pass point extraction and bundle adjustment (VrAirTrig),
makes it a complete solution for producing maps from airborne imagery or lidar point clouds.
VrTwo adds stereo viewing to the highly successful VrOne editing and data capture
package. The power of VrTwo comes from its seamless integration into the VrOne vector
collection and editing system. VrOne’s power, flexibility and ease of use are all available
through VrTwo in either static or roaming mode, for use as a photogrammetric workstation as
well as a 3D CAD station.
